UJ Nursing Concludes Graduation Projects Carnival for “Job Readiness” Course with Innovative Presentations and Creative Solutions

​The School of Nursing at the University of Jordan concluded a distinguished final carnival for students enrolled in the “Job Readiness” course.

In her opening remarks, Dr. Areej Othman, the dean of the school of nursing expressed her pride in the quality of the presented projects and extended her gratitude and appreciation to the University President, Professor Dr. Nathir Obeidat, for his continued support of the course. She emphasized that the University of Jordan is a pioneer in offering this course at the national level, recognizing its tangible impact on enhancing students’ readiness for the job market.

Course coordinator and vice dean for quality, Dr. Latefa Dardas explained that the carnival featured 23 outstanding graduation projects, each addressing a contemporary health or social issue and proposing practical, innovative, and applicable solutions. According to Dr. Dardas, the projects reflect the students' deep understanding and strong analytical abilities and the event featured the first event of its kind at the school of nursing.

Specialized evaluation committees, comprising deans of nursing faculties from Jordanian universities and several faculty members, undertook the task of evaluating the projects. They praised the level of creativity and professionalism demonstrated in the work and affirmed that such initiatives stand as a living testament to the academic and practical excellence of the University of Jordan and its pioneering role in advancing higher education in Jordan.

At the end of the carnival, students expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to showcase their talents and skills, emphasizing that the experience greatly enriched them with valuable expertise that will have a significant impact on their future careers.
