The School of Nursing extends its congratulations and best wishes to its researchers who have been classified among the top 2% of researchers in the world for their research and academic records over the last five years, according to statistics from Stanford University and Elsevier Publishing. They are: Dr. Latifa Dardas, Professor Muayyad Ahmad, and Professor Ayman Hamdan Mansour. It is noteworthy that this classification is based on standardized and verified information within the Scopus database, which includes abstracts and references from articles published in peer-reviewed academic journals, as well as from various books and publications. The evaluation of scientists in this list relies on the scientific citations of researchers, the h-index for measuring researchers' scientific productivity, the modified h-index for co-authorship (hm-index), and the citation rates of published research across various authorship sites. Based on this, the best scientists from 149 countries and 22 scientific fields and 176 sub-fields are selected. It is worth mentioning that the list included about 180,000 researchers, which constitutes (2%) of over 8 million active researchers worldwide.
