The open health day organized by the School of Nursing at the University of Jordan took place on Saturday, in collaboration with the Global Center for Climate Change, Water, Energy, and Food Systems, Public Health, the Chronic Diseases Association, the Arab Academy for Palliative Care, and Hashemite University. It was a significant success, with a large turnout from various segments of the local community and its different institutions.During the event held in the Khalidiya area of Mafraq Governorate, supervised by the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Latifa Dardas, and with the participation of Dr. Waddah Al-Daameh, Teacher Jumana Shahadeh, and a group of outstanding students from the school, several free health services were provided. These included vital signs check-ups, specialized vision tests, chronic disease screenings, first aid skills, CPR for adults and children, early cancer screenings, safe motherhood, nutrition checks, child care, mental health skills, and specialized bone and skin examinations.
