Writing a Curriculum Vitae and Personal Interview lecture for expected graduating students

The Dean's Assistant Office for Graduate Affairs at the school of Nursing organized a lecture on "Writing a CV and Personal Interview" on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. The lecture was delivered by Professor Dr. Mohammed Saleh from the Department of Clinical Nursing to the expected graduating students in the second semester of 2023/2024.

During his lecture, Dr. Saleh discussed the importance of writing a CV correctly and its role in facilitating the graduate's task of finding a job in the labor market. He also covered the essential elements that should be included in a successful CV, how to write it, and the importance of obtaining recommendation letters from teachers. Examples of CV writing were given during the lecture, as well as the importance of preparing in advance for the personal interview and the key qualities that the graduate should consider before, during, and after the interview. A total of 87 expected graduating students attended the lecture.

It is worth mentioning that the Graduate Follow-up Office at the College of Nursing is working towards organizing training courses for expected graduating students to improve and develop their skills while they are still studying, and to prepare them for the competency exam and the job market.
